Companion services are a cornerstone of the Servizi offering at Vacenti, designed to provide far more than just supervision. For our residents, a Companion means genuine friendship, meaningful conversation, and trusted support.

Whether it’s a peaceful walk in the garden, sharing stories over a cup of tea, or teaching a staff member how to play chess, Servizi’s one-on-one companionship brings warmth, purpose, and joy to daily life.

Servizi Frequently Asked Questions

All services that have been agreed to are itemised on your monthly invoice. These services are also tracked by the Servizi Concierge and they can provide updated information upon request.

Your Servizi concierge will be able to update you as to what services have been given. All events will require a RSVP and must have be authorized by the resident or EPOA, this will also be recorded for compliance.

If you can no longer participate in services you have the choice to have the additional service substituted. An example of this-you can no longer leave the Home you may opt for more Companion hours to keep the resident company one on one.

Each Home has a designated Servizi concierge. The concierge will be introduced to you either on initial tour of Home, day of admission or during first week. They will be available Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm.

Yes, your partner, daughter, son, friend, or any family member is welcome to join you in most activities, as we strongly encourage family involvement and connection at Vacenti. Some activities may have limited space or require notice for planning purposes, so we recommend speaking with our Care team or Concierge in advance to confirm details and ensure the best experience for everyone involved.

In addition to care fees you may also be required to pay an accommodation payment. The accommodation payment refers to the price of the room that you choose and will vary across aged care homes. The amount that you are required to pay is based upon an individual’s assets and income and is determined by Services Australia upon completing a means test. You may be required to pay all or contribute to the cost of your accommodation. The means test is not compulsory to complete, but for those who choose not to you will be required to pay the full room price.

You can expect that all the little details have been taken care of. For outings at restaurants etc we have already prepped the chef and venue. We will get you there and back to the Home. We will take care of all payments which will be itemised on your Vacenti monthly billing. We will ensure that medication is taken when it should be. Bathroom breaks are done ensuring dignity for the resident.
