What is clinical care?
At Vacenti Aged Care, clinical care is a personalised, collaborative approach to health and well-being, tailored to each resident’s individual needs, goals and preferences. Our experienced teams include senior clinician managers, registered and enrolled nurses and visiting professionals such as GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists and Allied Health specialists – including Dieticians, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, and Occupational Therapists.
We provide a wide range of specialised services, including dementia care, palliative care, post-acute rehabilitation, wound management, nutritional support, chronic disease management and behavioural and mental health support. Our goal-oriented care plans are evidence-based and developed in partnership with residents and their loved ones to ensure dignity, comfort, and optimal quality of life.
Clinical excellence is supported through our custom learning platform, VMax, which integrates national content from Altura Learning and ensures our staff are continuously upskilling. For medication management, we partner with Choice Aged Care, led by Clinical Pharmacist Michael Bonner, to maintain high standards of pharmaceutical care, deliver staff education, and drive continuous quality improvement through benchmarking and data insights.
At Vacenti, clinical care means compassionate support, trusted expertise, and a genuine commitment to resident well-being.

We are passionate and committed to continuous learning and development.
Our online learning management system Vacenti Max (VMax), bridges from the national Altura Learning platform. We use VMax to host our own learning content as well as content sourced from Altura, which also forms a suite of mandatory staff courses. Our management teams can enrol staff in courses at any time and monitor completion rates. VMax also allows the employee to have an online learning platform at their fingertips, where they can explore, enrol and learn through Altura and Vacenti content as they wish.

Vacenti partners with Choice Aged Care, a professional service provider to residential and community aged care providers encompassing ~35,000 care recipients
Choice Aged Care is owned and managed by Michael Bonner, a Clinical Pharmacist. We maintain a strong relationship with Michael and his team, who regularly visit our homes and engage with residents. They consult with our GPs, provide education to our clinical team, and support us in various research initiatives.
Through Choice Aged Care, we benefit from a benchmarking service that delivers crucial data on continuous quality improvement. This service focuses on clinical indicators and medication management, helping us maintain the highest standards of care and ensuring the ongoing health and well-being of our residents.
